In Elden Ring, the Troll’s Roar Ash of War can be found on the Troll’s Hammer, Troll’s Golden Sword, and Troll Knight’s Sword. When used, it creates a shockwave that blows enemies back, giving the user some distance from them. This can be helpful in many situations, such as when you’re surrounded by enemies and need a chance to escape or when you’re trying to reach a specific enemy that’s out of range.
This can be incredibly useful in combat, allowing the user to create some space to strategize or simply to avoid being overwhelmed by enemies. Additionally, you can connect the roar with a heavy attack which can also damage and even kill enemies, making it a powerful offensive tool as well. Thus, learning how to use Troll’s Roar effectively can be a major asset in battle.
This Ash of War grants an armament the Heavy affinity and the following skill:
“Troll’s Roar: Look into the distance and let out an intense roar, generating a powerful shockwave that blows back surrounding foes. Follow up with a strong attack to slam the armament down.”
Usable on large and colossal swords, axes, and hammers.
This Ash of War deals 40 poise damage on hit and instantly staggers most normal enemies. Damage increases with base damage and strength scaling. Using this skill requires 22 FP.
